Distribution of Christmas Hampers
On 18th December 2023, PTA Executive Committee members distributed the Christmas hampers to the students, teachers, office staff and janitors representatives. Thank you to the parent volunteers who helped to pack the hampers.
Sharing Session for S1 Parents 2023
This sharing session was aimed to help S1 parents understand the changes in their daughters’ transition from primary to secondary school. The talk about the development and career paths opportunities in the Greater Bay Area for their daughters was informative. The small group discussion and sharing were interactive and positive.
Parent Manager Election
The Parent Manager Election was held on 12th October 2023. According to the number of votes, Mr. Parmod Sharma, parent of Saniya Sharma (S2C) who had the largest number of votes has become our Parent Manager, and Ms. Michele Liu, parent of Vania Wong (S1A) and Gloria Wong of (S3A) has been elected as our Alternate Parent Manager.
MSS-PTA 26th Annual General Meeting
The 26th Annual General Meeting of the PTA was successfully held in the evening of 12th October 2023. PTA Chairperson, Mr. Thomas Cheung prepared a recap of the delightful activities held by the PTA in the previous year. This was followed by the presentation of certificates to out-going PTA Parent Executive Committee members.
Since there were only 9 candidates registered therefore no voting was necessary and all 9 were automatically elected. At the end, all 26th Executive Committee parent and teacher members pledged on stage, led by Mrs. Elaine Yu, Teacher Coordinator, marking the official commencement of the newly formed Executive Committee of the MSS-PTA 2023-2024.
MSS FUN FAIR 2023
The Annual Fun Fair was held on 7th and 8th of July with the theme of "Film Fiesta".
MSS and MPS PTAs set up game booths in Lady's Foyer for the MPS primary students, alumnae and guests. PTAs also invited the students from Hong Chi Lion Morninghill School to join us on this fun filing day.

Marymount PTA 25th Anniversary Dinner
To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Parent-Teacher Associations of Marymount Primary and Secondary Schools (“MPS & MSS PTAs”) this year. PTA had organized a Celebration Dinner on 29th April, together with parents, students, teachers, former and current PTA executive committee members, it was a memorable evening with a variety of programmes.
Sharing Session for S1 Parents
MSS-PTA organized a Sharing Session for S.1 Parents on 19 November 2022 (Saturday). This sharing session aims to help them to understand the major changes and differences in their daughters’ transition from primary to secondary school. Also using social media Websites is among the most common activities for today’s adolescents. We have invited a veteran journalist, Mr. C. K. Lau , of Hong Kong News Expo to share some helpful tips for S1 parents to understand about the impact of social media on their daughters and how to distinguish between true and false information.

According to the number of votes, Mr. Colin Wong (parent of Oliver Wong S3D and Amber Wong S6A) who had the largest number of votes has become our Parent Manager, and Ms. Michele Liu (parent of Gloria Wong S2C) has been elected as our Alternate Parent Manager.
Teacher Appreciation Programme

Teacher Appreciation Programme
The Teacher Appreciation Assembly organized by the Student Council was held on 6 June, PTA parent executive committee members recorded a video to express their appreciation to the teachers, office staffs and janitors. PTA also prepared a “Gift Pack” for each of them, to thank them for their dedicated work, especially during the pandemic. The “Gift Pack” included Rapid Self-Test Kits and Vitamin Tablets.

According to the number of votes, Mr. Colin Wong (parent of Olivia Wong S2B and Amber Wong S5A) who had the largest number of votes has become our Parent Manager, and Mr Simon Kwok (parent of Nicole Kwok S1B) has been elected our Alternate Parent Manager.
The 24th MSS-PTA Annual General Meeting
The 24th Annual General Meeting of the PTA was successfully held in the evening of 7th October 2021. Mrs. Brenda Koo prepared a recap of the delightful activities held by the PTA in the previous year. This was followed by the presentation of certificates to out-going PTA Executive Committee members and parent helpers in appreciation of their service and dedication. After this come the photo-taking session and refreshment break.
Since there were only 9 candidates registered therefore no voting was necessary and all 9 were automatically elected. At the end, all 24th Executive Committee parent and teacher members pledged on stage, led by Mrs. Elaine Yu, Teacher Coordinator, marking the official commencement of the newly formed Executive Committee of the MSS-PTA 2021-2022.
